One of my favorite things about traveling is getting to see different fashion looks and trends. Las Vegas is especially fun for this because of it’s never ending nightlife scene and the “anything goes” vibe the city exudes. I had so much fun dressing up during my trip, and wanted to share with you the nighttime looks I wore and why I paired the clothing the way I did.
night 1: tulle + vinyl hot pink dream
I have an hourglass shape, so when it comes to tight clothing material like vinyl, I have to be careful about how I pair it up. Wearing a skin tight crop top and skin tight skirt usually isn’t the most flattering on me, so, I bought a tulle neon pink off the shoulder top and paired it with a vinyl hot pink skirt. I opted for chunky pink iridescent strappy heels, and wore a neutral eye makeup look since I wanted do a colorful lip rather than the nude or clear lip colors I usually stick with. For lipstick I chose a crème lipstick from KKW Beauty in the shade pink 1.
The tulle off-the-shoulder top offsetted the vinyl skirt flawlessly, highlighting the hips and legs.
The neutral eye makeup helped the pink lip pop and tie the whole look together.
Night 2: white ballerina princess
This was my favorite look of the whole trip! I took my tried and true white skater skirt, and paired it with a white crop top with balloon shoulders. I loved the illusion this created because the sleeves and skater skirt helped taper my waist in and highlight my curves. I wore the same heels as the previous night, so I did a pink eye makeup look to match. I went with my favorite lipstick: the crème lipstick by KKW Beauty in nude 1.
The skater skirt and longer crop top created a classy, girly look with a little bit of sex appeal; leaving much to the imagination. Meanwhile, the balloon sleeves created a dramatic flair; both the top and skirt made the waist taper in more. The chunky pink iridescent heels added a small pop of color against the otherwise white outfit.
Night 3: timeless angel
For our final night out I wanted to rock something fairly classic and elegant. When it comes to tight dresses, mid length ones are the way to go to avoid making my legs look stubby. This white dress was perfect because of the balloon like shoulders and twist at the chest. My feet were swollen from traveling and standing on my feet for 10+ hours the previous two days, so I went with gold gladiator sandals. I did a bronzed eye look and nude lip once again.
The balloon like shoulders once again helped taper the waist in. The dress was long enough to avoid making the legs appear larger; accenting the curves instead. The twist at the chest added a nice touch and helped avoid the dress from looking boring.
The gold gladiator sandals made the outfit look effortless.
Great post, you have pointed out some superb details , I besides believe this s a very wonderful website.
