Why I’m loving it:
One of the main reasons I’m currently obsessed with this product is that it’s perfect for summertime. It gives you the most gorgeous bronzed, sunkissed glow, and leaves skin looking radiant, glowy, and dewy. I love having fresh skin especially during this time of year, and this product helps me achieve that. Additionally, true to the description, this is an extremely versatile product. I initially purchased this to use strictly as a liquid highlighter, but quickly learned and fell in love with all the other ways to use it. I love products that give you a lot of bang for your buck, and this one does just that.
I also love the fact that this product is in liquid form, and the formula keeps skin from looking dry and dehydrated. I feel like sometimes liquid or cream products also just make the skin look better overall; they hide pores more and keep skin looking fresher, IMO. These glow boosting drops are also super easy to blend. The product is so smooth and light and truly gives you the most gorgeous glow. Another bonus of the formula is that it’s lightweight, which makes it perfect for the hot months and feels lighter on your skin.
Although I have normal skin, I’ve found that it’s susceptible to getting dry easily, especially during this time of year. These glow boosting drops also feel super hydrating on my skin, and I’ve found my skin looks more dewy for longer periods of time. It truly keeps skin glowing, and a little bit goes a long way. Once on, it blends out so easily, and can be built up depending on what look you’re going for.
Application:
Directions:
“Shake well before use. Apply with blender or fingers.
For an allover glow: mix with foundation, skincare or primer.
For a targeted glow: use alone or over foundation. Apply above cheekbones, bridge of nose, forehead, cupids bow.
1 drop for natural dewy glow. 2 drops for more intense glow.”
Directions above found on the L’Oreal Paris website.
How I use it:
Depending on how you use these glow boosting drops, you can make your skin’s glow look more natural and subtle or enhanced and blinding. The way I use this product varies based on whatever look I’m going for. On days I want a more subtle glow, I’ll mix it with my moisturizer. If I want to make sure my makeup looks dewy, I’ll put a drop in my foundation and blend them together. If I want a more natural-looking golden bronzed highlight, I’ll use this on my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose, and my Cupid’s bow.
For a more subtle glow:
- Dispense quarter-sized amount of moisturizer onto back of hand. Drop in 2 small glow boosting drops. Mix together on back of hand using a damp sponge.
- Once mixed together, damp sponge will have product already on it. Apply mixture by bouncing product onto face with sponge. Apply and spread evenly for a natural, hydrating glow.
For dewy makeup:
- Dispense a dime-sized amount of foundation onto back of hand. Drop in 1 drop of glow boosting drops. Mix together with damp sponge.
- Note: a brush may be used if preferred.
- Once mixed together, begin by bouncing product onto face with sponge. Apply evenly, and pick up excess product from back of hand when needed. Once face is blended, apply on neck and underneath chin and jawline.
- Continue with makeup as normal.
For a radiant and more natural highlight:
- Dispense 2 drops onto dry sponge.
- Using sponge, apply product by gently dotting product into desired areas. Start with the cheekbones, then follow with bridge of nose and Cupid’s bow.
- Blend out product with the same sponge by gently tapping into skin using least amount of pressure.
- If desired glow is achieved, continue with makeup as normal. If not, repeat process until desired look is reached.

As pictured above and throughout most pictures in this post, I mixed this in with my foundation using my technique for dewy makeup. I also used this as my highlighter using my technique for a radiant and more natural highlight.
