Why I’m loving it:

There’s a variety of reasons why I love this product so much, but the very first one has to be its accessibility. After all, not everyone has access to corticosteriod prescriptions that can help treat various skin conditions such as eczema or dermatitis—until now. Thanks to Exederm, everyone now has access to an over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream that can relieve and soothe inflamed skin.

What’s more, this cream is also affordable AF. And I don’t know about you, but I’m all about saving where I can these days (blame it on inflation, student loans, and wedding planning). For under $7, though, you really can’t go wrong. Plus, a little goes a long way, so you won’t use up all the product quickly.

I’m also obsessed with this cream because it works for a variety of skin conditions beyond eczema and dermatitis. Case in point? Application:

How I use it:

On the days my skin’s feeling particularly itchy or scaly (especially on my legs), I’ll apply a tiny amount to my eczema patches immediately after showering to maximize product absorption. If I have a really bad flare-up or rash, I’ll put this product on the affected area an additional one or two more times throughout the day.
