The Skincare Products I’m Loving Right Now

I’ve recently gotten on board with the massive skincare trend, and let me tell you: I’ve become obsessed. Skincare is everything, it lays the foundation for so many things: anti-aging, that natural glow, the perfect base for makeup—and so much more. It’s all so important! Although I definitely stick to a “less is more” vibe when it comes to my skin, I wanted to update you all on what’s now in my daily skincare regimen. These are the products I’ve fallen in love with and use morning and night!

Kylie skin vanilla milk toner

When I use it: morning and night, after I’ve washed my face using a face cloth with cold water.

I’m not going to lie, I’m obsessed with all things Kardashian and Jenner. (Kim Kardashian West is one of my biggest role models, I really look up to and admire her, and also find her so inspiring.) I have products from both KKW Beauty and Kylie Cosmetics that I really love, so it’s not at all surprising that when Kylie Jenner announced her new skincare line, I was dying to try something from it. Although I did hold off on making a purchase for awhile, this toner kept calling me. I’ve never used a toner before, but after taking the time to read up on the benefits one can have on your skin, I knew I had to try one ASAP.

I love everything about this toner: the hydration, the smooth milky texture, the mild vanilla scent, the way it cleans up excess makeup, dirt, and oil; it’s ability to get inside clogged pores. On top of that, the bottle is super adorable and looks great on your vanity or bureau. (Anyone who knows me knows I’m obsessed with pink!) Although my skin is on the drier side, the area around my nostrils tends to get clogged really easily and cause blackheads. With this toner, I’ve really been able to get into that tough area and unclog those pores. Toning has now become a staple in my skincare regimen thanks to this product.

Barecat 3 in 1 Cbd facial serum

When I use it: morning and night, after I’ve toned and allowed the toner to really sink into my skin (I usually allow anywhere from 1-3 minutes).

Like I’ve said before in previous posts, I was never a die-hard fan of serums because I never felt like they moisturized my skin enough, nor give it that plump, dewy look/feeling. However, after being gifted this serum and using it for a few months now, I’ve come to understand why everyone goes crazy over them. When added to your skincare regimen, they make a world of difference. Although I don’t really get acne breakouts unless I’m hormonal (you can always tell because they’re almost always on my chin LOL), the times I’ve had any—even my tough PMS ones—I’ve used this serum and they’ve gone away almost instantly.

Walgreen’s hydrating water gel

When I use it: morning and night, and throughout the day if I have no makeup on, after I’ve applied my serum and allowed it to sink into my skin. (Again, I usually allow 1-3 minutes because this allows the serum to really get in there and do its’ job.)

I talk about this moisturizer a lot, but I’ve been using it for the better part of 2019 now, and am still as obsessed as ever. With hyaluronic acid being the main ingredient, this gel formula replenishes the skin with moisture and hydration. I love using this around my eyes (applying with my ring finger of course, as the skin around the eyes is so delicate!) because it gives the skin a good plump and helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and under eye bags or dark circles. If I have an area that’s extra dry, I make sure to really massage the moisturizer into it. This moisturizer has everything you need to keep skin healthy all year round.
