We’re all familiar with the ever-evolving world of wellness. You know what I’m talking about—the industry designed to help you live your best life by improving your health. And with things like mouth taping, gut health, sleepy girl mocktails, setting boundaries, red light therapy and scalp scrubs taking over TikTok, there’s no denying that wellness is all the rage RN. But with all the buzz surrounding it, I can’t help but wonder: What does it really mean to enter your wellness era?
While it’s easy to become jaded with wellness trends, the truth is that taking care of your well-being never goes out of style. Which is why I tapped spiritual mentor and quantum healer Erin Panzarella for her expert insight on all things wellness.

Erin Panzarella is a Spiritual Mentor and Quantum Healer. Losing her adoptive father before her fifth birthday created a lasting spiral effect, and she dealt with emotional challenges and abandonment beliefs because of it. Her journey of healing began during her first year of college, and since then, she has become a Reiki Master, Akashic Records Reader, and NLP Practitioner. She also holds certifications in Breathwork, Kundalini Somatics, Human Design Hypnosis, and Past Life Regression. The goal of her work is to help others heal, regardless of their circumstances.
According to Panzarella, entering your wellness era is an intentional choice and lifestyle change. With this, you essentially commit to living your best and most authentic life in just four simple steps. Keep scrolling to learn how to enter your wellness era RN.
4 Steps To Enter Your Wellness Era Right Now:
1. Shift your mindset
It’s no secret that mindset is everything, so while it might sound cliché, Panzarella swears it’s the real deal. And the first step for entering your wellness era. “In my Wellness Era, I make the shifts from believing that there is something missing in my life, to a knowing that everything I could possibly need is already here!” Panzarella told me. “It’s also a time of rewiring any subconscious beliefs that are stopping me from thinking that it isn’t okay to be still or self-reflective, and then infusing love, acceptance and healthy behaviors into my life instead.”
Panzarella recommends starting small by sitting in five to ten minutes of silence each day. Using self-reflection practices like meditation can be helpful here, and patience is key. This will help you discover and witness any negative core beliefs you have about yourself. “If there are beliefs and old emotions that are not serving you, write them down and use this awareness as an invitation to feel the emotions that need to be felt,” she said.

2. Incorporate somatic practices into your routine
In case you didn’t know, trauma and unprocessed emotions get stored in the body. And because of this, Panzarella suggests incorporating somatic practices into your daily routine. Somatic practices are practices that help move your body and release stored energy, like breathwork, stretching, or walking. Doing this will improve your mind-body connection and make it easier to work through subconscious negative beliefs.
3. Promote your wellness in real life
You can’t just talk the talk—you have to walk the walk, too. Which is why taking small, tangible steps daily that promote wellness is key. To do this, Panzarella suggests picking one or two easy steps you can make then and there that promote wellness. This might mean setting boundaries with a friend or your boss, taking the time to exercise, or setting aside time to indulge in an act of self-care.
Whatever you decide, Panzarella stresses the importance of committing to doing them consistently. And rooting into the reasons why you’re doing them. This will further affirm the importance of taking care of your overall well-being. “Over time, you can add more actions, but remember the journey to wellness is a marathon, not a sprint,” she told me. “Using tangible, small steps that build overtime is the way to create a Wellness Era that lasts a lifetime, rather than one that is short-lived.”
4. Honor what feels right
Despite what TikTok has told you, entering into your wellness era will not happen overnight; rather, it’s a gradual process. Panzarella explained to me that trying to do everything at once—like meditating, exercising, and inner child work—will only lead to burnout.
Instead, Panzarella implores you to take things slow. And you can do this by staying true to yourself and honoring what feels right. After all, everyone’s wellness era will look different, and that’s OK! Changing your life takes time, but if you can commit to doing that, you’ll be all the better for it.
“Living in a Wellness Era can improve your life immensely, because when you focus on your well-being, the ripple effect is endless,” Panzarella said. “When you take aligned action rooted in love and support for yourself, you become a magnet for exactly that around you!”
…and that is something we all need.
